Theme Features

• Flexible Control Panel (Theme Options Page), that allows to set up theme settings from the Administration Panel of your WordPress
• Adsense ready. All you need is to include your Adsense-ID in theme settings. You can also disable Adsense from administration panel if you don't need it.
• Two different widgetized sidebars (for homepage and for all other pages).
• Welcome text on homepage can be easily set up at theme administration panel.
• 125x125 px Banner block. (You just need to add banner HTML code at theme administration panel)
• Image rotating Javascript effect on the homepage. You can add any pictures you like (Picture size should be 510x190 px.). Pictures should be placed into a separate folder (/rotate_images)
• Valid XHTML (verified by w3.org)
• Page navigation plugin supported (wp-pagenavi)
• PSD file incuded

Theme Installation

• Use an FTP client to connect to your hosting account. Navigate to where WordPress is installed and locate the /wp-content/themes/ directory. Upload the /NewsPortal/ directory.
• Download and install wp-pagenavi plugin from Wordpress.org
• Login to your WordPress admin panel, and navigate to the Appearance / Themes tab.
• Simply click on "News Portal" theme preview thumbnail, and your theme is activated.
• Now go to NEWS PORTAL theme options tab

Theme Options Page

• Use Adsense Ads blocks : (Yes or NO) - "Yes" is set up by default. Setting this option to "No" will disable Adsense.
  You should Enter your Adsense Pub-ID in corresponding field if you decide to use Google Adsense.
• Adsense Publisher ID : - input your Adsense Publisher ID (could be found an your Adsense account page). This parameter will be used to show Adsense ads.
• "Welcome" Text : - is shown on homepage - to he riight form the image block. You can use any HTML code, i.e. pictures, links, etc.
• 125x125 px Banner block : - HTML codes for 3-4 banners (125x125 px.) Block width is 125 px. There is no limit on height so you can insert as many banners as you like.

Sidebar widgets

Theme contains 2 wigetized sidebars - "sidebar_home" and "sidebar_pages". The first one is used on homepage only, the second one is used on all other pages.
