Installing the Theme

You have two options for installing the theme.
  1. Wordpress upload: The Wordpress upload is an easy process.
    Navigate to Appearance > Add New Themes > Upload.
    Go to browse, and select the zipped EliteRealia folder. Hit ‘Install now’ and the theme will be
    uploaded and installed.
  2. FTP Upload: Using your FTP program, upload the non-zipped EliteRealia folder into the wp-content/themes
    folder on your server.

Now that you’ve got the theme installed, you have to activate it. Go to Appearance > Themes and activate the
EliteRealia theme. Next, you’ll have to set up one more thing: import pages, categories and posts data to your Wordpress database.

Step 1: Go to the Tools > Import, and select "Wordpress" option.
Step 2: Choose a file /import/wordpress.xml from your computer and upload it. Wordpress automatically set up all necessary database fields.

Next step:

Go to Settings > Reading and change the settings to as shown in the image below:

The last thing you will need to do before you can start using the theme is setup the Theme Options. Go to the
"EliteRealia options" section of the menu (probably the last item) and hit ‘Save Changes’. You can set up some of the
options if you wish.

Theme Options

An explanation for each of the options has been given on that page, but I’ll discuss some of them in detail:

1. Color scheme : "EliteRealia" provides 10 awesome color schemes for you to choose from.
All you need to do is, choose one on Options page, and the rest will be taken care of automatically.

2. Background settings: "EliteRealia" provides 10 awesome Abstract backgrounds for you to choose from.

3. Homepage slider script : "EliteRealia" provides 3 awesome JQuery sliders on homepage: Cu3e (default), Carousel slider and Accordeon slider.

4. Slides images folder: Put your *.jpg images in this theme folder (recomended: 3-6 images)

5. Gogle Analytics code: Leave blank if don't use Google analytics

6. Search field text: Default Text for search form field

7. Contact form settings - Set Your Contact e-mail, Message subject, Successfully sent message, Error message...

8. "About" text: Text blovk in the theme footer

9. Contact e-mail, Contact phone: footer "Contact us" block

10. Social Networks settings: - Set your Flickr and Twitter ID-s

11. Search error settings: Set search error headers and messages

 

Using the Theme & Special Features

3 widgets horizontal area : showing 3 widgets ("About", "Services", "Portfolio") content. Edit these widgets in Appearance > Widgets.

"Portfolio" page : showing posts from "Portfolio" category. You can add subcategory for this page. Add new portfolio items and edit existing in your Wordpress admin panel.

"Text with image" Widget for Sidebars: Add and edit this widget in Appearance > Widgets.

Sidebar Widgets : "EliteRealia" has 2 differrent widgetized sidebars: "home" and "blog". See them in Appearance > Widgets. You can add as many widgets as you want to the Widget ready area. Just drag-and-drop - there is no technical know-how required.
